Head Pickleball and Racquets Teaching Professional

High Point Country Club was excited to welcome a new Head Pickleball and Racquets Teaching Professional, Freddie Powell in 2024. Raised in the UK, this accomplished athlete came to the U.S. to play college tennis at Drake University, where they were introduced to pickleball. After bringing the sport back to the UK and becoming one of Europe’s top players, he is now looking to further his career by competing in the U.S.

At High Point Country Club, Freddie added a variety of events to the pickleball calendar each week, offering both private and group lessons. Whether for game-day coaching or introducing new players to the sport, these lessons provide an excellent opportunity for members to enhance their skills.

In addition to pickleball, he also assists with tennis clinics and private lessons.
