Director of Golf

Jim Brotherton became the Director of Golf at HPCC in 1992. Jim began his professional career as an Assistant Pro at Willow Creek in 1982 before accepting the Head Golf Professional’s position four years later at Highland Country Club in Fayetteville, NC. He has been known as an excellent player, teacher and merchandiser over his career and was named a Class A Member of the PGA of America in 1984. Jim earned an Civil Engineering Degree from Virginia Tech and played on their golf team from 1978-1981 before turning professional. He resides in High Point with his wife Jana. They have two children: Curtis, who lives in Pfafftown, NC along with his wife Ariel and their son Beau and Rachel, who resides in High Point and is the HPCC Events Manager.
