About the Position:

We are looking for an inspiring, engaging, and dynamic Group Fitness and Exercise Instructor to join our dedicated team. This individual will be responsible for delivering a variety of safe, effective, and enjoyable group exercise classes, from yoga and Pilates to circuit training, cycle, barre, senior fitness, Zumba, strength training, core, flexibility, balance, and aquatics classes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver group fitness classes to a diverse range of members, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all participants.
  • Clearly pre-cue and demonstrate exercises, model correct techniques, and provide alternative exercises to cater to different skill levels.
  • Provide excellent coaching, motivating members to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Offer corrective coaching to ensure participants are performing exercises properly and safely.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and techniques in fitness and wellness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workout environment.
  • Be a positive role model, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging members to maintain regular exercise routines.

Qualifications:

  • A current nationally accredited Group Exercise Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a wide range of group fitness classes.
  • Strong ability to confidently pre-cue, demonstrate excellent technique, and coach participants of varying skill levels.
  • Deep understanding of corrective coaching and the ability to effectively communicate it to participants.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in multiple massage therapy techniques, skilled in conducting thorough client intakes including health history, needs assessment, and dedicated to promoting wellness and relaxation in a serene environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, tailored to their health history, needs, and preferences.
  • Conduct comprehensive client intake, including a detailed health history and needs assessment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting client's conditions and progress.

Line cook duties will consist of assisting the Executive and Sous Chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

  • Proven culinary experience, including a minimum of 3 years' experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook in a high paced and upscale environment.

High Point Country Club is seeking an experienced Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team! Have you ever wanted to work with an outstanding team of professionals in a beautiful environment? If so, this opportunity may be for you! The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of care for both our clubhouse campuses located six miles apart. We are looking for someone who is hands on and has a strong work ethic.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

  • Duties shall include but not be limited to:
  • Cleans and maintains 2 Clubhouses
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors; sweeps and vacuums rugs and baseboards; shampoos and spot clean carpets.
  • Dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork.
  • Empties, cleans and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash.
  • Washes doors, windows, walls, ceilings, venetian blinds and furniture.
  • Polishes metalwork.
  • Cleans, disinfects, and stocks restrooms.
  • Requisitions supplies and notifies supervisor of expected shortages in a timely manner.
  • Reports repair and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Cleans lighting fixtures and replaces light bulbs.
  • Closes windows, turns off lights and locks doors to secure buildings.
  • Maintains and keeps equipment and materials in proper condition.
  • Picks up paper and sweeps and washes areas around buildings and facilities.
  • Observes safe working practices. Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards. Follows label instructions to mix and dilute cleaners, disinfectant and stripping agents to ensure proper strength for use.
  • May assist other maintenance personnel in maintaining buildings and fixtures.
  • Moves furniture as necessary.
  • Observes all Club safety practices and protocols.
  • Performs other duties as designated by the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

  • Communicate effectively with members, guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and safe usage of cleaning chemicals, materials, disinfectants, janitorial tools and equipment.

Physical Demands

  • Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors and involve physical strength and endurance. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, walking, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, repetitive motions, bending, lifting, pushing, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch.
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading aquatic fitness programs and possess a nationally accredited group water exercise certification. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate participants, and a commitment to providing a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and instruct aquatics and water-based group exercise classes, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience for participants.
  2. Develop and implement well-structured and engaging exercise routines suitable for various fitness levels and abilities.
  3. Provide clear and concise instructions to participants, demonstrating proper form and technique.
  4. Create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participants to achieve their fitness goals and promotes a sense of community.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of the principles of water-based exercise, including proper body mechanics and safety precautions.
  6. Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including emergency procedures and protocols.
  7. Collaborate with other fitness staff and departments to promote overall wellness programs and initiatives within the club. 

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as an aquatics and water group exercise instructor or relevant experience.
  2. Nationally accredited water group exercise certification or.
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  4. Ability to motivate and inspire participants.
  5. Strong understanding of aquatic exercise principles and techniques.
  6. Knowledge of proper body mechanics and safety precautions in the water.
  7. Ability to adapt exercises or routines to accommodate individual needs or limitations.
  8. Reliable and punctual with a professional work ethic.
  9. Flexible schedule to teach 2-3 times per week during the summer.
