Rachel Brotherton

Director of Events

Rachel Brotherton is a 2019 graduate of Western Carolina University, where she received a Bachelor�s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Resources. While attending Western Carolina, she was a collegiate cheerleader and competed in multiple National Championships for the school. During her time in college, Rachel worked many positions in the Food & Beverage industry, including 4 years at an upscale restaurant, Cornucopia, as well as working Kids Camp at Mountain Top Country Club in Cashiers, NC. Rachel has held multiple positions at High Point Country Club including Hostess, Pool Server, Receptionist, Dining Room Server and now Director of Events. Rachel is the daughter of High Point Country Club�s Director of Golf, Jim Brotherton, and resides in High Point, North Carolina.

"I started working at High Point Country Club at 16 as a host and server at the pool. While I was in college, I also had the opportunity to work at the front desk. After graduation, I got a job away from the hospitality industry and quickly realized that I missed the members and the way they made me feel welcome and appreciated! When I returned to HPCC, I was promoted to Director of Events. I love the opportunity HPCC has for its employees and the teamwork atmosphere is great. HPCC has your best interest at heart and is always willing to work with you."
