Please welcome Ruan Walker - our new Massage & Bodywork Therapist. We are excited to have Ruan on board to offer Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Hot Bamboo massages.

Ruan is also a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist. Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT) is a specialized form of massage that involves the application of firm, sustained, and controlled pressure over painful, taut bands of muscle, called trigger points, to release tension and facilitate blood flow. NMT focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness.

Neuromuscular Therapy can be used to help treat many tennis and golf-related injuries. Symptoms that NMT helps to relieve usually include:
- Tightness of the tissues that restricts motion or pulls the body out of alignment, causing individuals to favor and overuse one hip or shoulder, or elbow for example
- A sense of excessive pressure on muscles or joints that produces pain
- Pain in any part or parts of the body, including head, neck or back pain

Ruan is a focused professional who is passionate about providing exceptional client care that promotes holistic wellness, muscular rehabilitation, and relaxation. She utilizes active listening, to fully understand the needs and concerns, and tailors the treatment plan accordingly to achieve optimal results for her clients.
